      Claridge-Culp, Inc Oct 2017 - Jul 2022
CCI is a small start up founded by a group of Texas A&M professors with a new process for air conditioning. The company produces prototypes and conducts research into molecular membrane air conditioning.

I began working at CCI my sophomore year at Texas A&M. After graduating a took on a full time engineering role as senior engineer at the company.

At CCI I learned how to manage a large project and work with other engineers. As the company is a start up, I had the opportunity to take on many different roles. I helped to design and construct prototype air conditioners. Hiring and managing student workers became my responsibility after graduating.  I handled documentation for all bill of materials, engineering manuals and test reports. I worked with vendors and manufactures to get parts ordered and manufactured. I designed tests for novel parts and processes.

Major Projects at CCI

  • Designing and manufacturing vapor separation membrane support modules.

  • Building and testing prototype air conditioning systems.

  • Keeping company engineering documentation up to date.

  • Hiring and managing student workers.
